Once again, Wellsoft has received a Best in KLAS distinction
Somerset, NJ – December 15, 2008 – Once again, Wellsoft has received a Best in KLAS distinction in the Emergency Department Information Systems category in the just released 2008 Top 20 Best in KLAS Report. This ranking demonstrates Wellsoft’s continued focus on providing a premier product for clinicians and administrators of Emergency Departments. For over 20 years Wellsoft Corporation has been known for its’ pioneering work in EDIS.
KLAS independently monitors vendor performance through the active participation of thousands of healthcare organizations. Their research represents the opinions of healthcare executives, managers, clinicians and IT executives. According to KLAS, “The Top 20 Vendor Performance Report is a summary of the performance data collected over the past 12 months. Included is a ranking of the Top 20 vendors overall, as well as a ranking of the top vendors in selected key areas of performance.” Wellsoft rated the highest overall and was noted for delivering a product that works as promised, keeping promises and the quality of implementation staff. Wellsoft scored 100% in the “Recommend to a Friend/Peer” category.
In addition to providing performance data, KLAS Research also includes commentary and feedback from clinicians and IT professionals. Wellsoft continues to receive extremely positive comments from its clients. For example:
• From my experience, Wellsoft is the Cadillac of ED vendors. I have used other ED systems. When I started at this facility, we had a totally disjointed paper process. The impact on our ED from putting in tracking and nursing documentation and charting has been great.
• We really like the ease of documentation with Wellsoft EDIS. We can make changes and customize certain aspects of the software to meet our specific needs.
• The support has been great. When they say they will make a change or get a request done for us by a certain date, then they will have that done, sometimes before the due date.
“We are honored to be recognized again by our clients through the KLAS evaluation,” said Wellsoft Corporation founder and CEO John Santmann. “We pride ourselves on listening to our clients to deliver a product that works as promised and exceeds their expectations and evolving needs.”
