Enterprise Support

The Wellsoft EDIS Enterprise Edition addresses the specific needs of multi-hospital/multi-facility organizations.

One of the central features of the Enterprise Edition is the inclusion of the Wellsoft Clinical Data Repository (CDR) module which houses copies of all ED visits from all facilities in the healthcare organization. This module can be accessed by select ED staff from each facility to retrieve relevant patient clinical information in real time. It can also be used by administration for generating detailed reports for one or all emergency departments within the enterprise.

Individual hospitals within an enterprise have the option of sharing common data elements and assessment documentation. A directory of follow-up referral physicians, for example, can be stored as part of a shared enterprise-wide staff directory. If one facility updates contact information for a specific provider, this information is instantly updated and accessible by all facilities.

Modifications to Wellsoft EDIS can be made at a specific site without affecting the EDIS at other EDs within the enterprise. Wellsoft Enterprise clients enjoy the benefits of custom software solutions for each of their facilities in addition to having the ability to harness the power of shared data elements available to them.
