CCOW Enabled

Simplifying the use of multiple systems, Wellsoft v11 users can access multiple CCOW compliant applications with a single log-on (Wellsoft and the HIS, for instance). CCOW-compliant applications work together and provide the user streamlined access to patient information from various sources. In addition to the single log-on, the user will automatically be on the same patient and same patient visit or study when switching between applications.  

EMS Module

Features designed specifically for Critical Care Transport Teams (CCTT) such as tracking, documentation, paging, email, and auto-faxing are available in Wellsoft v11.  The EMS Module can be installed without impacting current procedures in the Emergency Department. The CCTT can collect information from referral physicians and facilities, track the transporting unit's availability status, page teams for transport, and document patient care in its own data module. This module is integrated into the Emergency Department system to enable ED staff to access this data without any interacting with additional systems.

Immediate access to web based resources is provided from within the Wellsoft v11 application without the need to open a separate browser.

Patient Entry Kiosk/Display

The Wellsoft Patient Entry Display will allow patients to enter their own names, chief complaint, sex and age into the Wellsoft application through a user friendly graphical interface. Entering their names will populate the triage track with their information once processed.

Physician Scheduling

DocRoster, the most advanced scheduling tool available for the management of physician rosters and on-call schedules, is integrated into Wellsoft v11. This easy to use, real-time system replaces unreliable, ineffective paper-based systems. Changes in schedules are made quickly and easily ensuring up to date information. DocRoster enables users to post shifts, receive alerts if scheduling conflict occur, send emails from the system and synchronize personal schedules with Palm/Pocket PC handhelds. Administrators can view who is scheduled to work, who is on call, print daily/weekly schedules and much more. DocRoster plans to expand to nursing scheduling in the near future.

Precautions/Alerts

Flag patients automatically that present with a precaution or alert as recommended by the CDC for Isolation Types, using Wellsoft v11. The patient tracking display alerts all team members to specific precautions and isolation types. This menu is modified to meet specific facility needs.
