Automatic E-mail Automatically e-mail selected patient information to the private or follow-up physician from within Wellsoft EDIS utilizing the SMTP protocol.
Automatic Faxing of Patient Information Automatic and manual faxing of patient information is available in Wellsoft EDIS. All reports and documentation generated through the Wellsoft system can be faxed to the private physician, managed care provider, etc. All transmissions are automatically logged within the system. Automatic Paging Easily page one person or a group of individuals automatically, using Wellsoft EDIS. Paging is based on any event of the department’s choosing, such as automatically paging a technician when a respiratory order is placed or an entire trauma team being paged. Virtually any event can automatically trigger a page through an SNPP server. Internal Messaging Quickly and easily communicate with other Wellsoft EDIS users by sending and receiving real-time messages from within the system. Internal messaging provides individual or group messaging, message forwarding, and “new message” notifications. Messages are secure, spam-free, and delivered instantly. Users can check their mailbox anytime and from anywhere within the application.
