Patient Photo ID / Photo Capture
View patient image data at the point of care using Wellsoft’s user-friendly photo capture utility. Patient images can be imported from attached webcams or rapidly transferred from digital cameras or flash storage media. This functionality is useful in patient identification, risk management, and wound or abuse cases, among others. For patient identification, the image can be placed in the patient summary bar at the top of each record. This image is visible on the Triage Display, Chart Display and any other patient record display. Wound, or any other body images, can be easily embedded in the clinical documentation.
Wellsoft’s Image Editor allows end-users to quickly enable a webcam, take or erase a photo, zoom in or out, browse through all images within a particular record or print thumbnail or full-sized images.
Anatomical Diagrams
Wellsoft v11 EDIS incorporates detailed anatomical images which can be embedded within clinical documentation. These easily accessible images can be annotated with a mouse, stylus, or touch screen to indicate lacerations, edemas, etc. Clinical findings can be included above or below an image thumbnail if there is a need to expound upon any annotations.
Wellsoft’s Image Editor allows end-users to quickly change a particular diagram’s orientation from left to right, zoom in or out, browse through all images within a particular record or print thumbnail or full-sized images.
Scanned Documents
Reduce the costs associated with storing and duplicating paper documents and increase the accessibility of your documents by scanning them directly into patient charts. Wellsoft v11 allows for the scanning of both images and paper documents, such as EKGs and EMS run sheets, ID cards, or forms. Scanned documents can be viewed as thumbnails or full-sized images, and similarly printed in either format.
Embedded Forms
Wellsoft provides the ability to reproduce forms electronically, replacing your facility’s standard paper forms with digital conversions that are stored, accessed and electronically signed within v11. The electronic signature can be permanently embedded in the patient record and secured by our comprehensive user access system.
Sketches/Signatures
The annotation functionality in v11 allows clinicians to sketch over anatomic diagrams for the visual documentation of lacerations, burns, skin lesions, masses, etc., incorporate free-form drawings on an integrated “sketch” pad, or capture electronic patient signatures. Input devices include mouse, stylus, or touch screen.
