Wellsoft v11 is designed for the mission-critical environment of the Emergency Department. Wellsoft v11 requires no proprietary hardware or scheduled downtime. All routine maintenance including back up is performed as a background operation. Designed as a client/server application, deployment options include:
- Standard networked PCs – Wellsoft v11 utilizes any standard workstations and input devices, including mobile, wireless, plasma, pen based and touch screens. Wellsoft project managers help hospitals choose the combination of devices and displays suited to the requirements of each area of the department.
- Thin client – Microsoft Terminal Services and/or Citrix are supported. This option is particularly effective for multiple hospital implementations lacking high-speed connections. It also allows Wellsoft v11 to operate in a browser, and offers the best of both worlds by providing full functionality without the security and response time issues typical to web-based products.
Secure
Wellsoft system data is saved as soon as it is entered, removing the possibility of lost data. There is no need for closing a window and hitting save.
Wellsoft v11 has a unique multiple level security system. This security system controls access to Wellsoft data by assigning privileges to users depending upon their role within the department such as nurse, physician, registration and so on. This includes read only access if desired.
Password log in, as well as swipe and proximity cards are supported.
