Wellsoft Supports Emergency Medicine Standards

The use of industry approved standards is the most efficient, reliable, and cost effective method to exchange clinical data. Applying these standards in real-time end user environments has enabled the Wellsoft system to effectively promote patient safety and enhance patient care while reducing costs. Bringing together data from multiple different sources to create meaningful clinical information requires Wellsoft’s unique combination of healthcare knowledge, analytic ability and technical competence.

Wellsoft has extensive experience with interoperability and systems integration. Since 1988, Wellsoft has successfully integrated with just about every relevant hospital and departmental IT system to effectively exchange Emergency Department patient information.

Wellsoft has developed an EDIS application and implementation strategy that is standards driven, evidence based and real-world tested. Wellsoft will continue to incorporate proven technologies and information exchange standards as they gain industry and market acceptance. A large part of the Wellsoft mission is to actively participate in healthcare technology standards groups in order to advocate the unique needs of emergency medicine both today and in the future.
